30-Day Return Policy

DiamondExchange has a 30-Day Return Policy and offers a full refund or exchange within 30 days of the date of shipment. If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you can return it subject to the following conditions:

1. The item is in its original condition. Those items showing signs of wear-and-tear, resizing or alterations (done by anyone other than DiamondExchange) or any form of damage, would not qualify for this return offer.
2. Rings which have been engraved do not qualify for this return offer.
3. All accompanying certification and guarantees must be returned with the item to qualify for this return offer.
4. Items damaged in transit while being returned will not qualify for this offer.

To initiate the return procedure contact one of our consultants by email at sales@diamondexchange.com.au, or by phone on 1300 JEWELS (539 357). Please be sure to have your order number for your purchase ready before contacting us.

Your item must be returned to DiamondExchange, GPO Box 830 Melbourne Victoria Australia 3001, with all original packaging and certification. We recommend you insure the item, as you are responsible for it until it is delivered to DiamondExchange.

Once we receive the item, our Quality Assurance department will examine the piece and if it satisfies all the rules applicable for this offer, your refund will be processed in a few days. All refunds will be processed the same way that payment was made.

Our 30-Day Return policy gives you plenty of time to consider your purchase so that you can be sure you have made the right decision.

Lifetime Guarantee

All DiamondExchange rings carry our emblem to guarantee the quality of the diamonds, the fine craftsmanship and purity of the metal. Each diamond ring passes through strict quality controls to ensure that it is of an exceptional standard. The quality of all diamonds is guaranteed by an International Diamond Certificate of the highest repute. This certificate specifies the diamond’s unique characteristics, its carat weight, clarity, colour and cut, providing an accurate fingerprint of your diamond.

Every DiamondExchange ring is guaranteed for a lifetime against any manufacturing defect. If in the unlikely event an item is found by our Quality Assurance department to have a manufacturing fault, it shall be replaced free of charge if the item has not been:

1. Damaged due to mishandling or inappropriate use (knocks, dents, crushing, etc.)
2. Altered, resized or repaired by anyone other than the DiamondExchange.

Diamond Price Match Policy

If you believe you have found a better price elsewhere you can still enjoy the benefits and prestige of a DiamondExchange purchase.

DiamondExchange will not only match but we will beat any price for a certified diamond offered anywhere in the world. If you find a better price for an identical diamond, we will beat it.

Offer Details
If DiamondExchange deems the two diamonds to be identical when comparing them using the following criterion we will beat the price:

• Cut Quality based on dimensions, table and depth percentages
• Polish
• Symmetry
• Colour
• Clarity (Type and position of inclusions taken into consideration)
• Fluorescence

The competitor’s quote must be available to any member of the public and cannot be a unique discount. To be eligible for this offer you must supply either:

• A competitor’s written quote with a copy of the grading report or,
• A link to website or,
• A published price offer.

If the diamond is not identical DiamondExchange will source a diamond similar to the one you have found at a better price.

Upgrade Your Diamond

A diamond is forever but the diamond you purchase today may not forever suit your needs.

If for any reason you want to upgrade a diamond purchased from DiamondExchange, we will give you 100% of the original purchase price towards the purchase of any diamond of greater value.

Policy Conditions

1. This policy applies to diamonds purchased from DiamondExchange only.
2. The trade-in amount is based on the purchase price of the diamond only. It does not include the purchase price of the engagement ring from which the diamond will be removed.
3. The trade-in diamond must not be damaged or altered in any way since the original purchase.
4. The trade-in diamond must be accompanied by all original grading reports and certificates issued with the diamond at the time of purchase.
5. You must have a copy of your original receipt in order to trade-in a diamond.
6. The trade-in amount will be adjusted to take into account any variations in the exchange rate from the time of the initial purchase to the time of the trade-in.
