Diamond Certification
Before purchasing a diamond we recommend you view a copy of its certificate as proof it has undergone an independent and professional assessment. Every diamond sold by DiamondExchange comes with its own GIA certificate.
GIA Certificates
The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) is the most respected diamond laboratory in the world. All diamonds submitted to GIA are guaranteed to have reliable and consistent grading. Anywhere from 3-6 separate gemmologists will individually grade every diamond for an accurate final grade and diamonds that are accompanied by these grading reports are the most highly valued in the industry. A GIA certificate includes an analysis of the diamond’s dimensions, clarity, colour, polish, symmetry, and other characteristics. Round brilliant cut diamonds will also include a cut grade on the report. All diamonds offered by DiamondExchange are also laser inscribed with their individual certificate number to enable permanent identification of you precious diamond.

“Ice on Fire” Authenticity Cards
For those people who are looking for the finest cut grade available, DiamondExchange has created a premium range, which we have called our “Ice on Fire” Diamond Collection. These diamonds are cut to the most exacting standards to maximize fire and brilliance. Not only is every "Ice on Fire" diamond graded and certified by the GIA but it also comes with its own individual authenticity card. This card verifies that your beautiful diamond meets all of the specific quality requirements of the "Ice on Fire" Collection.
CanadaMark Certificate of Origin
At DiamondExchange we know that some people are interested in the origin of their diamond. A diamond from our CanadaMark Diamond Collection is tracked and monitored from the rough crystal through to the finished polished diamond, creating an unbroken chain. In addition to having a GIA certificate each CanadaMark diamond comes with its own “Certificate of Origin”. A unique serial number carried by each CanadaMark™ diamond is laser engraved on the girdle of the diamond and shown on the diamond’s certificate card. Known origin and strict standards for quality ensure peace of mind for all customers.
